Cocobay Unawatuna - Unawatuna

Cocobay Unawatuna is a ‘safe and secure’ boutique-style beachfront resort that features a beachfront restaurant, beach deck for dining and an outdoor pool offering access to 200 meters of sandy beach with views of Galle Fort across the ocean.

Cocobay Unawatuna is a 5-minute walk to Unawatuna Bus Station. Galle Railway Station is a 5-minute drive away while Galle Town is 3 km from the resort. It takes approximately 2 hours to drive to Bandaranaike International Airport.

Furnished with artworks and wood flooring, each air-conditioned room and suite comes with a flat-screen satellite TV (suites with Netflix), minibar, teacoffee facilities, telephone and safe and the 3 Aqua Romance rooms have private plunge pools. Private bathroom has a spa bath, rain shower, bathrobes and slippers. Guests can expect a fruit basket upon arrival, pillow menu and free Wi-Fi.

Guests can work-out at the gym or take up a surfing course during their stay at Cocobay. A travel counter can offer assistance with planning tours. Airport transfers are also available at an extra cost.

The beachfront La Mer Restaurant serves a delicious variety of Sri Lankan, Chinese and International cuisine. After dinner drinks can be ordered from the Chill Out Lounge Bar. Chill out Lounge offers various international cocktails and spirits and wines.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 12:00.

Payment Verification Policy (Mandatory):
The same credit card used for the reservation must be presented at check-in for verification.
If the original card is not presented, any pre-charged amount will be refunded, and the guest will be required to make payment using a different card or cash at the hotel.
This policy is strictly mandatory and must be followed without exception

If you are making payment using another cardholders credit card, please provide the following to the property prior to your arrival:

1) Authorisation letter with cardholders signature
2) Copy of the cardholders card (front and back of card with cardholders signature)
3) Copy of the cardholder’s passport or driver’s license

Please note that the property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes.

Reference to our cancellation policy, please note that we will consider free cancellations if plans are affected by Covid 19 due to positive PCR tests, changes or Cancellations of booked flights, Lockdowns, or other regulations introduced by authorities.
In this case, please send us documentary evidence and we will agree with free cancellations and refund any payments made to us.
